8th Grade Promotion

Promotion @ Roosevelt High School Auditorium, 6pm

Dance @ location TBD, 7-9pm

Hello 8th Grade Families, 

Your 8th graders are approaching the end of their school career at Astor. In a “pay it forward” program, the 7th grade families are planning a special send off. We will be coordinating the promotion ceremony and a student-only dance afterward.  The Promotion ceremony will take place at the Roosevelt High School Auditorium on Monday June 9th, at 6pm, followed by the dance, from 7-9pm, at another location, to be announced. As we move forward, we will provide you with more details about the evening’s festivities.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 for entertainment, decorations, food, and a keepsake for these events. We are asking that you make a monetary donation to support our efforts. These funds will be held in the PTSO account and designated for 8th Grade Promotion.
