Bottle Drop Recycling

Recycle your bottles and cans to benefit Astor!

Get Started:

1. Pick up a Blue Bag from the dispenser outside the office

2. Fill it with aluminum cans or glass bottles eligible for Oregon's return deposit. (Detailed instructions are printed on the Blue Bags)

3. Seal the bag and drop it off at a convenient location.

Drop Off Details:

- Blue Bags can be dropped off on the playground at the monthly Principal coffee chat (see our calendar) OR

- You can drop off at ANY Bottle Drop location in Portland. The closest to Astor are:

Bottle Drop Redemption Center, 1176 N Hayden Meadows Dr

Bottle Drop Express, 8330 N Ivanhoe St

- You DO NOT need to wait in line to drop off your bag or have the contents counted.

- Facilities include a secure bottle drop door. Simply scan the barcode on your bag and wait for the green light. Open the door, drop your bag inside, close the door and you are all set!

How Does it Work?

Each Blue Bag includes a barcode. When your bag is scanned at the facility, proceeds will automatically be credited to our account.
